As a successful businesswoman and a mum, I've had to overcome a lot of fears and feelings of self-worth myself.
As a teenager, I ended up on the streets and then in a foster home. The day after I turned 18, I jumped on a plane on a 1-way ticket to Hamilton Island with only a couple of hundred dollars I'd saved in my part-time job.
I walked the streets asking for work until something came up and lived in a freight container with a single bed and a fan.
I spent the next 6 years backpacking around the world.
I knew I was destined for more and I wasn't going to let anyone stop me!
I have spent years and tens of thousands of dollars on my own Personal Development. I've had to do a lot of growth emotionally and spiritually and have learnt to let go of being a people pleaser and seeking external validation from others.
When you stop comparing yourself to others and come from a place of sovereign self-love that is when the magic really starts to happen.
